Tora Village directly translates to Tiger Village and that name suits this coffee because it's a straight up beast. It comes from the Kochore region of Ethiopia and it's typical for most coffees harvested from this area to be processed via fully washed methods. We were super pleased to get our hands on this rather uncommon naturally dry-processed lot.
From nose to finish you'll find pineapple notes streaked with dark berry flavors and a jammy apricot finish. We found maximum pleasure brewing this on a 155 Kalita Wave for maximum complexity and acidity, but if you have the means and equipment, please try our coffees as espresso!
Espresso Parameters: 93degC water temp 18g very fine grind (Mythos One or equivalent) 25 second preinfusion followed by normal brew pressure until final weight 42g final weight Target Extraction Yield: 21-22%
